PICTURE DAY IS TUESDAY, 10/8!!
Smile! This year, picture day will be Oct 8th. We will be using a new company, Lasting Impressions, with a wider range of package options. Order forms went home Friday, 9/27 and we need them back no later than Mon, October 7th. Please note that we will be taking a group class photo for all the children in the class, but only children that have sent in their order envelopes will be taking their individual photos. A makeup day will be scheduled but currently the date is TBD.

Open from Monday 9/30/24 until Friday 10/18/24, you can find merchandise on the pop up shop not found in stock at PS 175 such as black zip up hoodies that can be customized, leggings, moisture wicking long sleeve tees, scarves, polo tees and more! Orders will be shipped to the school once the pop up shop closes on 10/18. Orders will be distributed to your child once they arrive around 11/8. It’s so – easy!
5K COSTUME FAMILY FUN RUN
Join us for City Island’s PS 175 PTA Family 5K On OCTOBER 20th at 10am! We postponed this event from last year. Now, our long awaited event will be even more fun as you can dress up in your Halloween costume and run, walk, parade down the boardwalk of Orchard Beach!
Please meet at the Orchard Beach Pavilion by 9:45am to check in. Race starts promptly at 10am. All are welcome – any age, school members, islanders, friends and family. You can sign up at the school, with the PTA by clicking the link below or at Clipper Coffee. The suggested sign up donation is $10/ adult, $5/child or $20/family. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners in both the 12y and under category as well as the 13y+ category. Also, a big thanks to City Island Roadies for helping us to organize this fun event again!

Please check the events calendar from time to time, confirming the dates as some have been adjusted to accommodate school holidays and other scheduling conflicts. Meeting Minutes will be recorded and posted here in the event that you cannot attend. SLT meetings are held the same day as PTA meetings from 2:45-4:15pm
The PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides enrichment programs and support services for all of the students, families, staff and faculty of P.S. 175. There are many ways to be involved in our community such as volunteering, collecting or providing donations, digital charity, and even something as simple as lending your voice or your ear. Every contribution helps and is readily welcomed. Participation is strongly encouraged to further foster and facilitate the sense of learning and community that we enjoy at P. S. 175.
