The PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides enrichment programs and support services for all of the students, families, staff and faculty of P.S. 175.  There are many ways to be involved in our community such as volunteering, collecting or providing donations, digital charity, and even something as simple as lending your voice or your ear. Every contribution helps and is readily welcomed. Participation is strongly encouraged to further foster and facilitate the sense of learning and community that we enjoy at P. S. 175.

MEET YOUR 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR BOARD MEMBERS:

Melissa Rosado-Taveras (co-president)

The PTA meets monthly with parents, teachers, staff and volunteers – usually the third Thursday every month at 6:30 pm on zoom. Please check the events calendar from time to time, confirming the dates as some have been adjusted to accommodate school holidays and other scheduling conflicts.

Meeting Minutes will be recorded and posted here in the event that you cannot attend. Moreover, you can always contact the PTA directly via our contact form  or reaching out to one of us at the emails listed below.

The success of the PTA is a direct result of the generosity and hard work of past, current and future members. If you are able to contribute in any fashion or are simply interested in what is going on at the school, please attend the monthly meetings and/or reach out to us. Every little bit of help counts towards the success of our children and the school!  Thank you!
